SEE CATCH OF THE WEEK |

Captain
Reynolds was born and raised in the town of St. Augustine, Fl, with
the Matanzas River as his back yard. The time he spent on this river
as a child provided him with the love of water that has ever since defined
his life. As he grew into a young adult he realized his future profession
must somehow coincide with the water he had gained such an affinity
for as a child. To insure he would always be on the water he made a
vital career move while still at a young age; he began to work on various
local party boats as part of a crew. This allowed him to expand his
knowledge of the Florida waters, gaining the information and experience
he would need for a career in the field of deep-sea fishing.

The Captain finally
made his way to Mayport, Florida in 1984, where he worked on the King
Neptune for the next six years serving as first mate.
Finally, in the summer
of 1990 he was given his chance to prove himself as a deep sea-fishing
captain. He set out to re-define the meaning of a deep sea fishing boat
captain. He devoted himself to his crew and his boat, as very few captains
have in the past.
This new responsibility
became his first priority, and the owner of the boat saw the promise in
the young captain. In 1995 the owner decided to retire from the fishing
industry. The King Neptune was sold and Captain Reynolds was made partner
of the boat.Captain Reynolds is now owner of the King Neptune, and is
coming into nearly twenty years of fishing the waters of the Eastern Seaboard.
He has, over the years, added countless fishing spots to his repertoire
and honors to his name. He looks forward to many more days spent fishing
on the waters of his childhood, adulthood, and, he hopes, his old age.
